WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a manual permanent makeup technique that uses small strokes to mimic the appearance of eyebrow hair. Our experienced and certified technicians use a microblade to carefully scratch the outer layer of the skin, which allows the pigment to be absorbed. Microblading is waterproof, smudge proof, and is designed to look naturally fuller. It does not replace the need to fill in your brows. Best for dry, normal, and combo skin.
COMBO BROWS
Combo brows are almost exactly what they sound like. This method is the combination of manual microblading and machine shading. When compared to traditional microblading, combo brows give you a more "makeup look", but they can still stay more natural if that is what you prefer. Your new eye brows can last from 1 to 3 years depending on your skin type. This procedure is good for all skin types and will replace the need to fill in your brows.
OMBRE BROWS
Ombre brows use only the shading technique. It will give your brows a very sculpted and filled look, similar to a brow pomade fill.
MACHINE HAIRSTROKES
Machine hairstrokes give a fluffy and natural look. This technique is similar to microblading, but it will give you longer lasting results with crisp strokes. Machine hairstrokes pair well with combination to oily skin types.
THE PROCESS
-
STEP 1
Our artists go through a thorough consultation before starting the process. We believe the consultation is the most important part of the procedure and makes up about 90% of it. During the consultation, we ask clients to show us any photos they like, don’t like and/or how they normally draw on their eyebrows to get an idea of the client’s unique style.
-
STEP 2
Our artist will then measure all the points of the client’s face with a ruler to ensure symmetry and precision. Once our artist finds what is needed to make a perfect pair of eyebrows, they will begin designing based on the client’s natural eyebrow hair and desired look. This is all done with a pencil first to ensure that the shape can be adjusted, if needed, before the procedure starts.
-
STEP 3
Once our client approves the shape drawn, the client and artist select a color. Our artist will swatch colors on the forehead based on natural eyebrow color and the client’s unique style.
-
STEP 4
We want to ensure your utmost comfort so we apply a topical numbing cream for 20 minutes before your procedure. We place it on top of the outline and cover it with saran wrap to seal in the numbing as much as possible.
-
STEP 5
Only after the client has approved the shape and color and the numbing is completed, we start the microblading. That's when the magic happens. Our artist will open a sterile needle in front of the client and start the microblading procedure. The artist implants pigment into the skin to give the allusions of really fine hair. Numbing is applied throughout the procedure to ensure the utmost comfort.
